The Journey of One Extraordinary Middle Child and his 2 Siblings

Ryder is my middle child. He is 6 years old. Ryder loves being silly. He loves chocolate. He celebrates his individuality.
I hope you enjoy his view of the world as much as I do.

Disney Mania

The Family took our first BIG vacation in five years. This time was a bit different.  There was no one in diapers and two more bodies to feed.  It was also two more to enjoy all the fun that DisneyWorld had to offer.
This was our day at DisneyLand during our California vacation in 2010.  Look at those babies!

And this is what we look like now....
Ya, there is a hand placement issue here.

We had an exhausting, wonderfully great six days.  No one was ready to return home.  While having a large family with children of different ages meant we often divided up at the parks, it also meant we got to share in lots of different experiences with the kids.  Oh, and that we qualify as a "large party" and automatically have gratuity added onto our dining bill as if we are a field trip everywhere we go.

She got to hug Aurora.  Her very favorite princess.
  Totally starstruck.

I enjoyed this walk down memory lane from my summer of 2000.

The kids all enjoyed rides.
Will made sure Luke and I both rode the Tower of Terror.

Okay, maybe they didn't enjoy every ride.  Ryder may not ride Space Mountain again until he is 25.  Or never.

Parker enjoyed the vacation food.  Especially buffets.  This boy may not look it, but he can eat.  And eat.  And eat.

We did enjoy plenty of down time at the resort pool as well.  At least I did.  The kids rode this sandcastle water slide too many times to count.

When I would ask the kids each day if they had fun, Leah would always say, "Yes and all my family was here with me!"  She loves days with all six of us together.  I have to say I agree.

Even if being together means getting rain soaked hours before boarding a flight, I'll take it.
