The Journey of One Extraordinary Middle Child and his 2 Siblings

Ryder is my middle child. He is 6 years old. Ryder loves being silly. He loves chocolate. He celebrates his individuality.
I hope you enjoy his view of the world as much as I do.

Fashion Advice from the Kids

I am constantly surprised by how different the personalities of children raised in the same house can be.  In no way is this better personified that in the fashion sense of my brood.

Here's a break down of what each child has taught me.

Leah, 2 1/2 yrs.
Everything looks better with a tutu and a belt.  Sunglasses make you sassy and usually cause you to walk with your hands on your hips.  If you carry a purse, it is best worn around you neck like a camera case.  The correct name for braided hair is a "Rapunzel piggy tail."  Clear plastic, Cinderella heels go with everything.

Ryder, 5 1/2 yrs.
Never look like everyone else.  The more pockets the better.  If you can accomplish being a character each day (a dinosaur, Superman, Transformer, etc.), do it.  Snow boots and flip flops go with everything.  Plain socks are boring.  School dress code should allow capes.

Parker, 7 yrs.
Comfort is number one.  Athletic clothes are best.  If someone else will pick out your clothes for you, let them.  As long as your hair isn't sticking up like a chicken, you look good.  Black Nike socks and Under Armour are best if you are forced to dress yourself.

Will, 16 yrs.
Tight is good.  Tighter is better.  If your hair looks bad, or if you think your hair look bad, wear a stocking cap.  Never go barefoot.  Ever. White tube socks are the worst think a guy could wear.  There is no such thing as too much cologne.  American Eagle and Hollister are where its at.
