When Leah turned a year old, she said just a few words and used a few baby signs. Now, at almost 21 months, she is a full parrot, repeating everything she hears (good and bad) and it seems there are new sentences ever day. I also noticed that her phrases seem very fitting for a third child with two brothers. She stands her ground. Here are a few of her current favorites:
- I do it!
- I have it!
- My turn.
- Look!
- I toot! Funny! :/
- Love you.
- See it. (Meaning: let me have it.)
- Mine.
- Hooray! (Singing "If you're Happy and You Know It.)
- Ulk (Milk)
- French Fries
- Popsicle
- Bank it (blanket)
- Take a shower.
- Princess. Princess dress. Princess book. Leah Princess.
- Sit (with) me.
- Toesm dirt! (This happens when dirt gets between her toes 4 times daily.)
I know in a couple months her speech will be much better and there will be a whole different list of favorites.
