Ryder is my middle child. He is 6 years old. Ryder loves being silly. He loves chocolate. He celebrates his individuality.

Get Off of My Back

Did you ever see the movie Spirit, Stallion of the Cimmaron?  Well, my kids have - many times.  More than the movie, they love the soundtrack.  This movie was Parker's favorite almost three years ago, and I thought the fad had passed.  It seems to have been resurrected by Ryder.
You see, you don't just watch Spirit, you PLAY Spirit.  You do so by listening to the song, "Get off of my Back," over and over again. While doing so, one brother is the horse and the other brother is the rider being bucked off by the unruly horse.
My boys also feel free to sing the lyrics "Get off of my back!" loudly in the grocery store and other public places.
Oh, Spirit.....

    I've been blog-stalking you for a while now, and I'm finally prepared to come out of the closet. Prepare yourself: that means comments...lots of comments. :)

    Your boys are so much like my girls. They are definitely more hard core with the wrestling and bucking and whatnot, but their imaginations are the same kind of active. Ella and Kate don't just WATCH television, they PLAY television and SING television and DRAW television. It's enough to make me like television...almost. That being said, we are going to watch Spirit ASAP.

    LOL!! That's awesome! I'm sure Luke NEVER gets in on the "Get off of My Back" "horse" play. So much fun!
