Five

Two days ago this baby turned five.  Parker made me a mom and Luke a dad.  He made both my parents and my in-laws grandparents.  He made our siblings aunts and uncles.  So much has changed in the last five years, that his birthday always feels like more than your average birthday. It's a celebration of these live changes.  

This photo of Parker at five months makes me miss my baby.  However I do not miss the lack of sleep that came with this child as evident by the large bags under my eyes.

Parker became a big brother just a few days shy of 20 months old.  He went from my baby to my big boy very quickly.

He is one amazing kid and I love celebrating "firsts" for our family with him.

This is where a photo of Parker's 5th birthday party should be.

But the photos are still on my camera.

And the battery is dead.

And I can't find the charger.

And by the time I find it, he might be six.
