| The birthday "princess." The frilly birthday tutu was immediately rejected by Miss Leah. She settled for this one. |
Leah turned two this week. In two years, my largest baby at birth has turned into a tiny lady with a silly sense of humor, strong opinions, and a love of ramen noddles. Her stature may be small - she was just 25th percentile for height and less than 10th percentile for weight at her 2-year check-up, - but her personality is large.
Leah rarely speaks in front of strangers. However, at home, she is a non-stop chatter box. Some of her favorite phrases are, "Hold on a minute mommy. I got my hands full." "It's my turn!" "Where's Will?" and "Shake a booty!" Leah also sings a mean rendition of "Hush Little Baby" and the alphabet song.

She is fiercely protective of her family. Leah loves to climb, and shows little fear of trying new things. She mothers her baby dolls, has some killer dance moves, yells "Cannon ball!" when she jumps off the ottoman, and is very fond of her new big brother, Will.
Don't be fooled....this cute little missy has a temper and quite a sassy attitude when things do not go her way. She is a bit like her brother Ryder, when it comes to stubbornness. Despite this, life is better with this toy pistol carrying, Yo Gabba Gabba! loving, pink shoe wearing girl in it. I look forward to the many smiles and laughs the next year is sure to bring. Here's to two!
