The Journey of One Extraordinary Middle Child and his 2 Siblings

Ryder is my middle child. He is 6 years old. Ryder loves being silly. He loves chocolate. He celebrates his individuality.
I hope you enjoy his view of the world as much as I do.

Fourth of July

Our family began Independence Day celebration on the evening of the 3rd.  We had a cookout and shot fireworks at Granny and PaPa's house. Last year there was a burn ban and all fireworks shows near us were cancelled due as a result of the dry conditions. Ryder got an especially big kick out of shooting fireworks this year. He had no memory of doing this two years ago when he was just a year and half old.  The boys ran around in the dark for hours, squealing with excitement when the fireworks shot into the air.

We spent the Fourth at an early afternoon party with some dear friends, them went swimming and just hung out at home as a family.

Ryder got Captain America shields painted on his face at the  party.
He captured the coolness with a self portrait.

Happy Fourth of July!
